GDPR Canvas: a Great Way to Begin Your Privacy Assessment

We are happy to share this simple but nonetheless useful tool for privacy compliance with you. Developed by our Berlin partners, TechGDPR, the canvas will help you map and visualize company’s state and gaps in the General Data Protection Regulation compliance.

You can download the document at TechGDPR website

The GDPR Canvas is best used as an early discovery tool for startups and companies with limited amount of processes to create an overall picture of the status, or separately for each (category) of processing activity, e.g. marketing or financial administration” say creators of the Canvas.

Most recently, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office imposed its first fine for the failure to fulfil the information obligation under the GDPR. Legal actions like this provide a great example of why legal compliance with privacy legislation should not be taken lightly.

Feel free to use the Canvas in your privacy assessments.
