Legal Nodes in 2019: A Year in Review

Legal Nodes in 2019: A Year in Review

Ah, it’s that time of the year again. The time when in between enjoying the mulled wine or eggnog, running the Christmas errands and dealing with client emergencies (don’t you love those?) you sit down and write a list of what you have accomplished this year and make plans for the upcoming one.

And 2019 has been quite a year for Legal Nodes! In the outgoing year we:

1) Went through the LongHash Acceleration Program, which we have joined in less than a month from our public launch. Our intense 3-months on-site acceleration in Germany ended with demo days in Berlin, Singapore, and Shanghai;

2) Earned a title of the Best Startup of 2019 for winning at the 2019 Startup Competition at Lviv IT Arena, the biggest tech event in Eastern Europe;

3) Been among the winners of the Startup Grind Global Ukrainian Delegation Open Call Pitch Event, securing the place among the Ukrainian delegation to Startup Grind Global Conference 2020 at Silicon Valley;

4) Broadened the horizons of our legal expertise by scaling from matching blockchain businesses with DLT legal experts to providing access to legal solutions for all tech businesses;

5) Expanded our legal network to 110+ legal providers across 20+ different countries;

6) Travelled to China to speak at the Conference in Alibaba Tech Part in Hangzhou, China, one of the largest tech meet-ups in Asia;

7) Attended multiple conferences, workshops, pitch events and hackathons, including those in the UK, Ukraine, Germany, Singapore, Georgia, Lithuania, and the Netherlands;

8) Participated in several educational projects;

9) Organized 7 public events, including one in collaboration with LongHash in Berlin;

10) Published a Privacy & Security Token Offering Handbooks for startups, as well as, 150 articles in the Legal Nodes Blog;

and much more.

So… we guess it was kind of a good year!

We have been blown away by all the support and recognition of Legal Nodes by our clients, legal providers, partners and media. It is your encouragement that made all the great things in 2019 even possible.

Speaking of the things to come, in 2020 Legal Nodes Team will be working tirelessly to further achieve our mission to disrupt the legal industry. In February of next year, we are planning a release of the second version of the Legal Nodes Platform - a fully-fledged legal marketplace. So, watch out for the news about our release!

This shall be a huge step for Legal Nodes to spread the philosophy of transparency in the legal industry and improve the access to legal support for more tech businesses. And we hope you will be joining us on this journey.
