Sales Workshop with 70Ventures

Sales Workshop with 70Ventures

From Legal Nodes experience, winning Lviv IT Arena Startup Competition is not only about the monetary prize, it’s also about the new connections, skills and brand awareness you get. Since IT Arena is considered one of the best Ukrainian IT-business events, all visitors come to visit it to become a part of this melting pot.

Among the other prizes, we got the workshop on sales improvement from 70Ventures accelerator, which is currently accelerating 12 companies. That’s why today we would like to share some impressions about our recent trip to Vilnius to 70Ventures HQ.

Our team consists of enthusiasts that are trying to put the ideas into practice through trial and error. We at Legal Nodes, that are sometimes referred to as “legal nerds”are lawyers by education and by vocation. However, we are also self-trained event organizers, sales-managers, PR-managers, business development officers, copywriters, and many others. That’s why hints and professional opinions regarding these non-legal topics are extremely valuable for us. A great bunch of such hints and opinions on sales improvement we got during the workshop by 70Ventures partners - Per Møller, Jean-Baptiste Daguené and Gytenis Galkis that have more than 13 years of entrepreneurial experience and more than 27 years of operational management experience.

Most useful was learning about best practices in B2B cold sales, building sales algorithms inside the team and defining the ideal customer profile. We have also learned a lot about different tools to boost sales efficiency. While Legal Nodes is automating and optimizing the lawyer’s non-legal work, there are multiple ways to automate and optimize startup’s sales processes. To boost your sales you need to be aware of such ways, learn how to implement the necessary instruments, recognize your client’s needs and fully focus on sales creative work. That was actually the essential insight of the workshop.

The Legal Nodes team is very grateful to 70Ventures for the productive and pleasurable stay in Vilnius!
